Description

An erotic retelling of the classic, 1001 Arabian Nights....

When the Sultan finds his wife in the arms of another man, he executes her, beginning a brutal domination of the virgin women in his kingdom. Only beautiful, wanton, and wise Scheherazade knows how to stop his wicked ways... by turning the tables on him and dominating the Sultan.

This erotic novella is for mature audiences and contains m/f, ffm menage, voyeurism & masturbation, bdsm (bondage, domination, submission of both femdom and maledom varieties), and is 34,000+ words, jam-packed full of hot erotic tales.

Excerpt

The princess did as he commanded, keeping her ass high in the air while she put her face to the carpeted ground. When Aladdin struck her the first time with the reed lightly, she yelped, but managed to stay still. The lash stung her rear in quite a different way than his hand. The pain felt more intense, but concentrated in a single spot. He lashed her with three more strokes, each a little harder than the last. When she thought he was done, she felt the reed stroking her exposed cunt slowly, teasingly, and she couldn’t help but to whimper, trying to stay still. Her pussy overflowed with her juices as her master teased her with the lash, giving her enough sensation to heighten her arousal, but not nearly enough to make her come, which she began to want desperately.

‘Do you like that, slave?’ he asked her.

‘Yes, Master,’ she said. She wanted to beg for more, but didn’t dare.

‘If you do good work with the sand, I may allow you to come,’ he said. ‘Would you like that?’

‘Yes, Master!’ Dunyazad exclaimed, eager for that. She wanted to feel a man’s cock in her virgin pussy, to know what it was like. She had masturbated many times before, and used her women servants to pleasure her, but a man… that would be a different experience indeed!

 My Review

1001 Erotic Nights by Alana Melos is an erotic version of the classic tale of Scheherazade attempting to keep her head by beguiling the sultan with stories. In this case, though, the stories are all highly erotic versions of the classics you've heard before, such as Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves and Aladdin.

It's a long book but because it's filled with individual stories, it doesn't seem that long. You can just read each story individually if that's more your style. There are a few errors in it, especially towards the end. They brought me out of the story as I read but otherwise no big deal. Erotica in general tends to be looser than other genres: authors write, give it a quick once-over and then publish it.

Where this book really shines is in the tone and the language. It reads like it was written and translated long ago, and yet it's not hard to read in the slightest. And it's consistent like this throughout. As an author, myself, I found this to be very impressive. She makes concessions for the modern words we use when describing sex in erotica, like clit, cunt, pussy, and so forth, but Alana makes it all fit together nicely.

Each individual story is well-told, and as they progress they escalate appropriately in terms of the sex and the submission elements. Scheherazade is doing more than simply telling titillating tales in order to keep the sultan from separating her head from her shoulders. She's educating him in dominance and submission, and her final story and lesson provide the entire book with a terrific ending, which of course I won't spoil for you.

I think it's worth noting too that the cover for this book is excellent. I see so many erotica books with shitty covers that make my eyes throw up.

I know there are a lot of dirty retellings of fairy tales and so forth, but the attention to detail, the care, and the heat level of 1001 Erotic Nights sets this one apart from the rest.
